Once again I show my weakness for the Analog Life (in a Digital World). I found an old-school radio this time around. No, not the massive, furniture-sized RCA model – I’m not committed to that level of old-schoolness. More along the lines of vintage, circa 1970s. This little radio is so powerful it allows me to pull in stations even in my basement lair, and this in spite of its missing antenna!
Score one for Old Media.
This is my dad’s radio, honest to Pete. I used to mess with the slide bars on the right. Where’d you find it?
And now my own children mess with the slide bars…and so the circle of life continues. I found this radio at my super secret Rockport source. No, it’s not really a secret, unfortunately for me. I found this radio at the the Dump (aka the Swap Shop). Can you believe it?
